Captiqo Terms of Service

Applicable to all Captiqo online services

1. Agreement

This service is operated by TONG WEIJIE, doing business as Captiqo.

Captiqo (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform") is operated by the Captiqo team and provides YouTube subtitle translation and vocabulary services. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms of Service, please stop using the Platform and related services immediately.

2. Account Registration and Use

1. Account Creation

You need to sign in with a Google account to use full features. You are responsible for protecting your account security and must not share account information with others.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities conducted using your account. If you discover unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.

3. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

3. Subscription and Payment

1. Free and Paid Services

The Platform offers both free and paid subscription services. Free users have daily translation limits with basic features including bilingual subtitles and word translation. Subscribe to unlock unlimited translations and premium features.

2. Subscription Fees

Subscription fees are clearly displayed on the pricing page. All fees are denominated in USD.

3. Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel before the end of the current subscription period. You can cancel your subscription at any time in account settings.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a one-time refund for first-time purchases within 48 hours. If a refund is issued, premium access ends immediately. Renewal payments are non-refundable unless required by law or in cases of duplicate/erroneous charges. After cancellation, you can still use member features until the end of the current subscription period.

4. User Conduct

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of others
  • Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform's systems or networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Platform
  • Use automated tools (such as bots) to abuse the service
  • Transfer or sell your account to others

5. Intellectual Property

1. Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design, is protected by intellectual property laws and owned by Captiqo or its licensors.

2. User Content

You retain ownership of your saved vocabulary and translation content. By using the Platform, you grant us the right to use, store, and process this content to provide services.

3. Usage Restrictions

Without explicit authorization, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Platform's content.

6. Disclaimers

1. Service As-Is

The Platform provides services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

2. Translation Accuracy

We provide translation services, but do not guarantee complete accuracy. Translation results are for reference only.

3. Third-Party Content

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these websites.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Captiqo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

7. Service Changes and Termination

1. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any part of the service at any time without notice.

2. Terms Updates

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you through website announcements or email. Continued use of the service indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
